ואלא מאי שנא רישא ומאי שנא סיפא
— He replied: In the earlier clause<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' Where liability is stated. ');"><sup>1</sup></span> we can rightly apply to the offence [the words] <i>'and he slaughters it'</i>, [in the sense that] the whole act is unlawful,<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' As the slaughter took place while the father was still alive.
